i saw that commercial too and was amazed. can you imagine how much they would have to pay each one of those guys to appear in the ad? and then collectively? all for a stupid video game? wow….i’m moving to fucking canada.
the pink shirts… everyone in boxer briefs except for kobe… (like what, the tighty whiteys were too gay, but the rest was fine, Black Mamba?) the fact that it’s for fucking guitar hero, which itself is a technological distillation of our cultural/creative bankruptcy, all done as a pastiche of an old 80s movie most of the target demograph has never seen, with a song that was ironic in the *original* version….
is this what it feels like to be japanese?
