And I thought the Watchmen was good. It’s been on my mind the past few days because I can’t help but analyze some of the subtle differences between the novel and the movie. I didn’t think the casting was great, everyone should have been much older. I do like Matthew Goode as Adrian though. It’s an interesting choice. I could go on and on about this. But I really don’t have the time. Not yet, anyway.

It came off like a really expensive fan-movie. By that, I mean it had the forced acting and cosplay elements that are so often seen in home-made fan films. God, it was so much f’in garbage that I think I hate anything related to the Watchman… including the comic which I had previously loved.

I may have a new candidate for my Hidden Indicators of Bad Taste. But then, I was never a huge fan of the graphic novel. I thought it was good, but not amazing or one of the 100 greatest novels of the 20th century or anything. I think I prefer Y: The Last Man more.

I was disappointed that we never got to see Manhattan’s swinging dick when he was giant-sized. That would have been an epic moment in cinema history.
