		<description><![CDATA[The thing about the threesome scene is that it is the perfect shocking reveal of the connection between those three characters. It&#039;s not just titillation, though it is, and wonderfully so, but that the film doesn&#039;t work in quite the same trashy way without it. 

As for &lt;em&gt;The OC&lt;/em&gt;... I think you could guess that the show would burn out just by the brilliantly breakneck pace of the first season. They were doing things in that year that lesser shows would take three or four seasons to get to, but it also meant that their very limited well of ideas would dry up pretty quickly. Then it became more apparent in season two, and then there was the whole shooting Trey thing and the Marissa/Olivia Wilde lesbian experimentation just for shits and giggles. Oh well. Such is the way with these shows.]]></description>
