Wow, I had the exact opposite reaction. Sally Draper is a terrible actress. The grandfather scenes totally sucked the life out of the first half of this season. Gene has made me dislike all old people just a little bit more.

It appears that the Mad Men writers still haven’t learned a lesson they should have picked up by the end of season 1: Mad Men is best when it’s at the office.
