I haven't reread the post to examine that yet, and I will later, but it's interesting that you mention that just replaying what I remember of this episode/storyline in my head... My general take on it now though is... Honestly, I wouldn't blame Betty for wanting to sleep with another guy. But I don't think that's going to be what makes her happy, at least not more than temporarily, i.e. the season 2 finale when she picks up the guy in the bar. I think around this time in the season and continuing out of it, my problems are with the Henry Francis character in general. I just don't like him. I think Betty will ultimately be a lot happier away from Don, who never really respected her, but I'd rather see her with someone other than the guy from Rockefeller's office, you know? Hmm.
